Music Academy Policy & Agreement

Class Policy

Students are expected to maintain a consistent lesson schedule of at least one lesson per week. Only one time slot may be reserved at a time for their regular class.

Tuition Fees

$45 - 30 minute weekly lesson

$65 - 45 minute weekly lesson

$80 - 60 minute weekly lesson

Late Tuition Fees

A $25 late fee will be added to your account if payment is not received 10 days after the due date. If payment is not made within one month, the Studio reserves the right to discontinue lessons.

The subscription due date is on the 1st of each month, tuition fees are based on the number of classes for that month.

Setting up auto payment is required for all students.

Tardy Policy

Students are encouraged to arrive on time to ensure they receive their full allotted lesson time. Lessons will not be extended for late arrivals.

Lesson Cancelations

Students are allowed up to six makeup lessons per calendar year, based on teacher availability, provided a minimum of 24 hours' notice is given. In the event of a no-call, no-show, the lesson will be charged in full, and no makeup credit will be issued. Makeup credits are available; however, the academy reserves the right to assign a substitute teacher if the original instructor is unavailable.

Teacher Absences

In the event your instructor is unavailable, we will make every effort to arrange a substitute for your scheduled lesson time. If a substitute is not available, you will be promptly notified and given the option to reschedule.

Vacation Policy

We will reserve your lesson time for up to 4 weeks with a charge of 50% of the reservation fees or a prepayment equivalent to 4 lessons. For absences longer than 4 weeks, you may choose to pay 50% of the reservation fees to hold your spot. Alternatively, you may choose to release your spot and re-enroll upon your return, subject to your instructor's availability.

Discontinuation of lessons

Students may discontinue lessons at any time and for any reason, with a request for two weeks' notice. The Studio reserves the right to terminate lessons at its discretion. In such cases, tuition will be prorated up to the last lesson attended, and any applicable refund will be provided.
